Announcing the 17 Participating Restaurants for Denver Fashion Week

The first official Denver Fashion Week is going to turn heads. From a full week of fashion and brand new workshops to celebrity designers, DFW is a week you can’t miss. Continuing on with the theme, we’re announcing the complimentary food that will be present at each night of DFW. Some are recognized names, while others are new to not only the Denver food scene but to DFW as well. Each night offers a unique culinary experience from some of the top restaurants in town. You and your bellies won’t soon forget the first Denver Fashion Week.

Departure

Where: 249 Columbine St., Denver
When: 
Saturday, March 24
What’s on the menuDeparture will serve its hamachi sashimi with apple, ginger and nori. If you haven’t had the chance to visit Departure at its Cherry Creek location, this is your chance to try the pan-Asian cuisine.

Hearth & Dram

Where: 1801 Wewatta St., Denver
When: Thursday, March 22 and Saturday, March 24
What’s on the menu: The newest addition to Union Station will be making its second appearance at DFW. While the 300 varieties of whiskey won’t be there but can always be enjoyed at their modern day saloon in LoDo, you can expect some authentic and exceptional wood-fired food.

Sweet Cooie’s

When: Sunday, March 18 (Kids and Bridal Show) 
What’s on the menu: It wouldn’t be DFW without some ice cream. Sweet Cooie’s, the Little Man ice cream shop that opened in the Congress Park neighborhood, will serve a variety of signature ice cream flavors. The line outside of Sweet Cooie’s is always out the door in the summer, so get a taste before the weather starts to warm up.

What’s on the menu: Speaking of Little Man Ice Cream, the favorite ice cream shop will be serving up scoops of some of their classic and fan favorite flavors. Little Man Ice Cream combines the 1920s, 1930s and the 1940s eras into a unique old-fashioned experience that tastes like homemade ice cream.

 

LOW Country Kitchen

When: March 18 (Bridal Show)
What’s on the menu: One of Steamboat’s popular restaurants has made a second home in the LoHi neighborhood, and it’ll extend its southern hospitality to DFW. LOW features everything from fried chicken to hush puppies. The weather may be warming up, but this southern comfort food is still a must.

Tacos Tequila Whiskey

What’s on the menu: Tacos are always a good idea. And these are some you won’t want to miss. Tacos Tequila Whiskey will feature their Chicken Tinga Tostada. Like we said, tacos are always a good idea.

Fish n’ Beer

What’s on the menu: The classic seafood restaurant will serve raw East Coast oysters with house mignonette. The fish is shipped in fresh from both coasts so expect nothing but top-notch seafood.

BRiDER

What’s on the menu: BRiDer is known for their delicious chicken, sandwiches, healthy and bountiful salads and great cocktails. At DFW expect avocado toast, house-made English muffin, radish, yuzu, cilantro and togarashi.

Julep

What’s on the menu: The sophisticated restaurant is bringing its ever-changing menu. This season, Julep is serving cabbage hoe cake, red-eye braised ham hock and green onion.

Leña

Ceviche Pulpo at LEÑA by Amanda Piela

When: Sunday, March 18 (Bridal Show) and Sunday, March 25
What’s on the menu: Who doesn’t like a little Latin flair? Leña is known for their signature Latin dishes that taste just like what you would expect from our friends south of the border. Expect dishes you already know and love you but with an extra level of creativity and their own unique spin.

Postino LoHi

What’s on the menu: Would it be DFW without Postinos? A staple each season, Postinos will serve its prosciutto. You’ll get to sample the fig & mascarpone on bruschetta and its spicy pepper jam & goat cheese on bruschetta. Take it from us, you’ll want multiple servings of both.

Pizzeria Locale

What’s on the menuWould we be proper hosts if we didn’t offer local Denver slices? Slices of prosciutto that is. This local favorite will serve Prosciutto Americano from La Quercia Norwalk, Iowa that will be a compliment to all the sweets and festive cuisine that the previous nights have had to offer.

What’s on the menu: One word: doughnuts. Well actually, several words including lavender lemonade, cookies and creme, s’mores, maple bacon, blueberry brown sugar and cream cheese, fruity pebbles, rosewater, orange cream and raspberry white chocolate. Need we say more?

 

Rhein Haus Denver and Wally’s Wisconsin Tavern

What’s on the menu:
 A new addition to not only the Denver community but to DFW as well, both restaurants will be bringing some of their signature dishes to everyone in attendance. Rhein Haus will serve pretzel bites with their delicious Obatzda & Spicy Honey Mustard and Wally’s will serve mini Bucky’s Bratwurst: a house-made brat loaded with onion, bacon, cheddar cheese sauce, all on an artisan sourdough bun.

 What’s that? More doughnuts you say? That’s right. In case you didn’t get your fill last Sunday, Glazed & Confuzed will bring doughnuts back for all your sugar cravings. It’s been a long week and everyone could use a sugar rush at this point.
